Oak House serves Spring Grove and Brambles Primary Academy with free pickup and drop. Our free school pick-up and drop-off service takes the pressure out of the daily school run, providing a smooth, reliable journey between school and the hub.

Simply drop your child off with us in the morning or collect them from Oak House after their session, while our team takes care of the school transfer.

It means genuinely bespoke care shaped around your family's wishes. Preferences guide the plan, while activities remain subject to the daily timetable, staffing and suitability.

Free HAF holiday places at Oak House

Oak House is a Kirklees-commissioned HAF site. Eligible children can access free holiday activities and a healthy meal during the school holidays. Eligibility is set by the scheme and confirmed through Kirklees Council.

Free HAF places are available only on confirmed programme dates and remain subject to eligibility and availability.

You may be entitled to help with childcare costs

Depending on your circumstances, support may be available through Universal Credit childcare costs, Tax-Free Childcare or Student Finance Childcare Grant. Eligibility is decided by the relevant government scheme, not by Legends Care. We can explain our fees and provide the information you need to explore your options.

Which schools does Oak House serve?

Oak House serves Spring Grove Junior Infant & Nursery School and Brambles Primary Academy.

What ages do you accept?

Legends Care is for children and young people aged 5-16.

What time are you open?

Morning care runs from 7:30am to 9:00am. After-school care runs from 3:00pm to 5:30pm, with extended care available until 6:30pm. Holiday full-day care runs from 7:30am to 6:30pm on published club dates.

Is Islamic education available?

Yes. Through our partnership with ILM Academy, families at Oak House can choose to add Islamic education as part of their child's personalised plan. It is optional, not part of standard care.

Can I get help with the cost?

Eligible families may be able to use government childcare support. Families without external childcare funding may qualify for our community-supported rates.
