WHAT WE OFFER
Care around the whole school day
A calmer start to the school day
Drop off from 7:30am. Children settle into the morning before our team completes the school run for the schools served by their location.
The school run and the afternoon are covered
We provide free school drop-off and after-school collection for the schools served by each location.
We provide care, activities and support until 5:30pm or 6:30pm.
Purposeful school-holiday days
Holiday clubs are already operating, with full-day care, activities and a welcoming space for children aged 5-16.
PERSONALISED CARE
Care that fits the child, not a one-size-fits-all timetable
At enrolment, we talk through what your child needs from their time with us. That may include space to unwind, homework support, creative or active sessions, confidence-building activities and opportunities to try something new. Preferences guide the plan, while activities remain subject to the daily timetable, staffing and suitability.
Flexible care from £9 per session
Flexible care from £9 per morning session and £15 per afternoon session for families receiving the community-supported rate.
Choose individual sessions or a monthly membership. Standard rates and community-supported rates are shown clearly on the Fees & Funding page.
HELP WITH COSTS
You may be entitled to help with childcare costs
Depending on your circumstances, support may be available through Universal Credit childcare costs, Tax-Free Childcare or Student Finance Childcare Grant. Eligibility is decided by the relevant government scheme, not by Legends Care. We can explain our fees and provide the information you need to explore your options.

Ofsted-registered childcare
Our childcare is delivered through two Ofsted-registered Tuition Time Hub settings:

Enhanced DBS checks
Team members working directly with children are subject to the appropriate safer-recruitment and Enhanced DBS checking procedures.
Safeguarding comes first
Clear safeguarding procedures, responsible supervision and careful staff recruitment are built into the way our childcare operates.
Paediatric first aid
Our team includes staff with paediatric first-aid training, with appropriate first-aid cover maintained during childcare sessions.
Inclusive practice
Our team has completed at Tuition Time Hub & ILM Academy have earned the Dingley’s Promise Mark of Achievement as an Inclusion Friendly Setting. Legends Care operates from these hubs and draws on that inclusive practice and training.

Legends Care is a trading name of Tuition Time Hub. Each childcare setting operates under its own published Ofsted registration. The hub has supported children and families in Huddersfield since 2014.

What ages do you accept?
Legends Care is for children and young people aged 5-16.
Which schools do you collect from?
Willow Lane serves Birkby Infant and Birkby Junior. Oak House serves Spring Grove and Brambles Primary Academy.
What time are you open?
Morning care runs from 7:30am to 9:00am. After-school care runs from 3:00pm to 5:30pm, with extended care available until 6:30pm. Holiday full-day care runs from 7:30am to 6:30pm on published club dates.
Can I book individual days?
Yes. Flexible sessions are available alongside monthly memberships, subject to place availability.
Can I get help with the cost?
Eligible families may be able to use government childcare support. Families without external childcare funding may qualify for our community-supported rates.
